The Creative Arts competition provides participants from the West Texas Region the opportunity to showcase their talent and skills in a competitive creative environment in the areas of photography, quilting, culinary, crafting and tablescapes.
Entries are judged in the days prior to the opening of the fair and remain on display, with presented awards and ribbons, throughout the four-day event.
It is quite a tradition in many families to compete at an annual fair, now Midland offers those opportunities and many look forward to competing in multiple categories and return every year. Many friendly rivalries are ongoing to see who receives the “coveted” MCF Blue Ribbon.
Area organizations who participate include: The Midland Senior Center, Casa de Amigos, along with the communities of Midland, Odessa, Greenwood, Crane and Stanton. Ages range from 3-87 with Male and Female hobbyist and professional entrants.
Are you a crafter? An amazing cook? A fantastic photographer? A Pinterest fanatic?
